Update
We are so excited to announce that we have two new therapist that have joined us, Umme and Tegan. Umme is a physiotherapist/associate hand therapist from Pakistan who has moved to New Zealand in the last few months. Tegan is an associate hand therapist who is returning to working after being on maternity leave.

Inspire Rehab is registered ACC Hand Therapy and Physiotherapy provider.

We specialise in hand injuries with both therapists having a background in a diverse range of musculoskeletal injuries.

Inspire Rehab offers hand therapy services to the Kapiti Coast community. We cover a large range of conditions which include ACC injuries (such as sprains, strains, fractures and post-surgical treatment), plus longer term conditions like arthritic and occupational overuse conditions, just to name a few.

Therapists
Ffion John
Ffion started her career when she graduated from Otago University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Ffion has worked as a physiotherapist in private practice, more recently focusing on hand therapy. Ffion was born in Wales, moving to the Wellington region over 20 years ago. She has spent most of her career working on the Kapiti Coast and really enjoys the more relaxed environment.
Andrea Barr
Andrea started her career as a Physiotherapist working throughout NZ, and Canada. With post-graduate qualifications in Sports Medicine, and Rehabilitation she now works primarily as a Hand Therapist. Andrea and her family moved to Paraparaumu over 40 years ago. She is excited to be back home on the Kapiti Coast and is enjoying living and working in her local community.
Pricing
If your injury is covered by ACC Inspire Rehab do not charge for bracing and splinting, however a charge will incur for exercise equipment, taping and wound dressings.
For private appointments there will be a charge for all bracing, splinting and exercise equipment.

At Inspire Rehab if you have had an injury that will be covered by ACC we can register your claim without needing to go to the doctor. An accident can occur in any location including at home, at work, playing sport or with any extracurricular activities. An accident is defined as an event that happens unintentionally at a defined moment in time that can result in damage or injury.

If an accident has caused your injury this can be covered by ACC. For your hand therapy treatment ACC can cover the cost of your apppointment, splinting and bracing costs. There may be a charge for exercise equipments, tape and wound dressings. Feel free to ask our team any questions or discuss whether you qualify for ACC.
